"- proven, identifiable, doable, and measurable church
planting methodologies."
Worldview Resource Group is a non-profit organization
founded in 2001. WRG is based in Colorado Springs, CO
and is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. The founders have
extensive experience in cross-cultural church planting and
missionary training. As missionaries with New Tribes Mission,
Mark and Gloria Zook started a church planting movement
among the Mouk people on the island of New Britain. Their
story is featured in the Ee-taow videos. Mark continues his
itinerant ministry with the Mouk, currently writing a New
Testament commentary for the Mouk churches. Mark is a trainer
with WRG. George and Harriett Walker started a church
planting movement among the Bisorio people in Papua New Guinea.
George was a trainer with New Tribes Mission for five years.
George is the Director of Training for WRG. Bob and Carole
Strauss have been involved in training missionaries for
the past twenty-three years. Until June 2002, Bob was the
Administrative Coordinator of the NTM U.S. training centers,
responsible for 225 trainers and 600 missionary candidates.
He is the President and CEO of WRG.
WRG is committed to partnering with existing indigenous ministries,
existing missionary training programs, and existing agencies
in the missiological community. WRG's vision is to provide
needed equipping for these indigenous global workers in cross-cultural
church planting methodologies.
Dr. Stephen Sweatman, the President of Mission Training International,
has written that WRG provides the answer for what he describes
as "the dire need in the missions community" - proven,
identifiable, doable, and measurable church planting methodologies..
